Deborah Nadel Design is a full service design studio specializing in custom invitations and calligraphy for weddings and special events and fine commercial lettering. Founded by calligrapher and designer Deborah Nadel, the studio has created designs for numerous clients around the country.

Deborah is known for her creative vision, attention to detail and innovative approach to invitation design. Her invitations have been featured in Bride’s, Bride’s Receptions, Modern Bride and Martha Stewart Weddings. A Deborah Nadel invitation can be classic or extravagant. Her invitation designs are created using a wide spectrum of specialty papers and enclosures. Her printing methods include letterpress, engraving and offset. Her customized calligraphy styles run the gamut from ornate to delicate scripts. Along with couture invitations, she offers custom monograms, ceremony booklets, menus, table signs and calligraphy for envelope addressing and place cards.

Deborah’s commercial lettering has appeared in magazines and newspapers, in logos and corporate communications, posters, packaging, book jackets and websites. A graduate of Pratt Institute in New York and a former art director for various design groups, she has more than 15 years experience as a lettering artist. Deborah’s eye for detail and her sophisticated approach to lettering design and calligraphic illustration have earned her many loyal clients including Tiffany & Co. and Crabtree & Evelyn.
