Absolute DJ Entertainment

Kevin and his staff were vet professional, on time and accommodating to my needs. The DJ was great and did everything that we asked from songs to centerpiece giveaway. The photo booth that they offer was the biggest hit!! I never thought that sooo many people would have enjoyed it, but they did. The main reason i used them was because my venue has there in wall lighting system so that the colored lights just shined down without having cords running everywhere. I would absolutely use them again if needed in the future. And don't be turned off by bridal shows, they are worth it.

Getting married on LI poses some difficulties for those like myself not wanting the typical over the top LI wedding DJ, but I got exactly what I wanted from Absolute! I was able to have a low key and fun night without having to deal with some of those oh so awkward wedding DJ moments. Nick did a great job!

Absolute DJ completely exceeded my expectations. My husband and I opted for the one DJ package because honestly, we wanted a DJ who was going to play great music, but not necessarily put on a show in the middle of the dance floor. We got just that! Our DJ, Kevin, was AWESOME! We could tell he was having a great time and that translated into how our guests were feeling. The dance floor was packed all night. Additionally, our DJ fulfilled all of our "different" requests, like being introduced to the theme from "The Office" and playing "Meet the Mets" at one point during the night. I know those songs may have been harder to find, but we loved them, and it helped make our night unique! If we need a DJ in the future, I would definitely hire Absolute DJs again!

We used Absolute entertainment for our wedding on 9/4/11 at the Lands End. Jeff was our MC and he was amazing!!! The music selections were on target with what I had filled out in my planning form. Jeff called me several das before the wedding to confirm the timeline of the day, and all musical selections. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish .Most importantly they kept the party rolling . I still get compliments on them even 6 months later. You can not beat their pricing. They are true professionals!!! Thank you...

Kevin and his company are A-MAZ-ING!!!!! I can not describe how wonderful the DJ services they provided were. We had an outdoor Labor Day weekend reception and added a steel drum player for atmosphere during cocktail hour which blew the guests away! We did an upgraded package with plasma tv's and up-lighting around the room which I would HIGHLY recommend as it brings a whole new level to the party/room. Our MC and DJ's were high energy (but not obnoxious in your face) which kept the party mood up the entire night. Will definitely use them again in the future :) :) thanks!!!!!

Although the music was good the night of our wedding and the MC did a wonderful job, we had nothing but problems with Kevin, the owner, and the people in the office. First, they lost track of a $3,000 deposit and were telling us we still owed that money. Next, the lighting that we paid an insane amount of money for was only done halfway and we weren't even made aware of it until we noticed for ourselves in our pictures. Last, we paid for 2 plasma TVs and "zap photos" that the DJ took throughout the party, displayed on the screens and then sent us a disc. We never got the disc. After 3 days of calling and getting bogus answers from the receptionist, we got the explanation from Kevin that "they got lost in the mail." We were told they were already deleted from the computers and there was no compensation because the disc is "only a courtesy." I would not recommend them to ANYONE. We understand that accidents happen, but Kevin never showed one ounce of apology or concern for our unhappiness.

Great music. Everyone had a great time and danced all night. They were able to find all of our requested music, and were very professional. The night moved very smoothly and we had a lot of fun.

I loved our DJ! Gene was the dj and he knew how to mix up all the stuff that we like! The dancefloor was packed and everyone had a great time! Our percussionist was Ben and he was awesome!

I really loved working with Absolute. They were really responsive to all of my ideas and the dance floor was packed all night. Paul was great! Thanks so much guys! BTW - their pricing is really great too.

Absolute Entertainment throws the best party! Jeff Troiano was our MC and Nick Pappas was our DJ. Jeff is who we met with at our first meeting with Absolute and he was so personable and easy going from the start we knew he would be perfect for us. Absolute lets you totally customize your wedding down to every little detail. They have a wedding protocol form that you fill out on their website and it was super easy to inform them of all of your choices that you will then discuss with your DJ. Nick mixed songs so unbelievably! He had smooth transitions from contemporary fresh music to classics like it was nothing. We had a packed dance floor all night! And the mashups he did with the songs were awesome!! Jeff was not an intrusive MC at all there was no yanking people out of chairs or performing little dances he got the guests motivated by the awesome music! BEST DJ EVER, even during dinner people were dancing!! From start to finish they were great, when we went in to go over our playlist they said to submit it online, but our computer crashed the day before, they let us sit down and use their computer and even told us we can use the computer for anything else since ours had crashed. The DJ was super thorough in what we wanted, they were great!

I loved this company. From the second you meet with them in person you feel valued and accomidated. We didnt not want an in your face loud MC, and they were perfect. My cousin used them for her wedding and the music was the perfect flow to apeal to all our guests. I never felt like i was rushed and they kept the flow of the reception moving smoothly, everything was perfect and it was very affordable

We had Carl (Acoustic Guitar/DJ), Justin (MC) and BaBa (Percussion). Carl was fantastic and really brought a nice sound to the CH. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, and he played songs that everyone could enjoy. Carl was also our DJ and he played everything we asked and more! BaBa (sp?) played percussion throughout the entire reception. He was so cool and really helped liven up our day wedding. We are all quite rowdy, and I was afraid that a day wedding would be laid back�not with BaBa!!! Our MC, Justin, was so much fun. We requested him b/c he is young and energetic. He�s a great dancer and my friends and family loved him. They are also the house DJ at SH so the equipment was already in place and out of the way�an extra bonus!

Absolute Entertainment is such a great company. They were very helpful in choosing my package and music. The song choices were perfect and all the guests were either on the dance floor or dancing in their seats. They did not play too loud which was fantastic because nothing annoys me more than to talk over the music. The MC was great and entertaining. If I had another function I would definitely chose them again.

Absolute Entertainment was a great company. My husband and I are Christians, and there was certain music we did not want played at our wedding. They were willing to cooperate with our requests and did not question our decisions. Even during the reception, a song was played that one of our guests was offended by and the DJ changed it immediately and then apologized to us. We really appreciated that because some other people might not have cared. So many people told us how great the DJ was the day of our wedding. I would recommend them to anyone!

They were awesome! They took care of the ceremony music as well as the reception. They played everything we wanted and nothing we didn't! They ask permission before playing any guest requests and were extremely professional.

Kevin runs a FANTASTIC Company. Everyone was helpful and GREAT to work with. This was the easiest company to work with for the wedding. We also hired their wedding video guy, Tim. My video is amazing. You can't go wrong with AE!!!!
