I am a medical professional. Never in my life have I dealt with a more unprofessional and discourteous person as Maryann, the owner of Adrienne's. Myself and another bridesmaid placed orders for Badgley Mischka dresses on 6/23/09. The other bridesmaid's dress arrived 9/09. When my dress did not come, no inquiry was made by Adrienne's as to why. It took me FIVE days of calling the Manhattan store to finally reach a person, no voicemail or email was ever returned. Needless to say, one full month of phone calls, never one returned by Adrienne's. Countless messages were left for Maryann and I only received one phone call in mid-October saying not to worry, she and the head of Badgley Mischka are good friends and it would be taken care of. After a month and a half of attempting to communicate with them in every possible manner, my dress arrived less than 24 hours before the wedding (untailored) IN THE WRONG COLOR. You can imagine the embarassment and dismay of the bride when one of her maids stood out like a sore thumb. After receiving the dress, I, again, made every effort to contact Maryann to receive a refund for the incorrect merchandise. Shocker, she's never returned my calls. No apology, no refund. I even emailed photos of the dress next to the other bridesmaids. I am currently seeking legal action.

I loved the Victorian vibe of Adriennes and unfortunalty I found the dress I loved. Adriennes was really expensive and they never made me feel like a special bride. I always felt like I was bothering them, they don't answer the phone, they never even called to tell me my wedding dress came in! They gave me no direction once the dress is in, as far as fittings and when I shold pick my dress up. My dress was never pressed for me at any fitting. My dress was beautiful and the first ride in the limo my back side was completely crinkled and on the bodice a seam split in the middle of the reception. Scheduling anything with Adriennes was a nightmare, they weren't flexable at all.

Adrienne's was a perfect place to get my dress! From Day 1 they were extremely helpful and really pleasant. Gina, the owner, was so nice to work with! I loved my dress and got a lot of compliments. The only criticism I would have, was that the set of buttons that comes from the manufacturer were supposed to be attached to my dress over the zipper once the final alterations were made and before I picked it up and they weren't. I didn't notice though until I put it on, so there was nothing to do. It was not a huge deal and I was the only one who noticed. The dress was still perfect and beautiful. Thanks Gina and team!

I bought my reception dress from the long island location. It was actually a prom dress that took over 4 months to get and was only supposed to take two. The dress was a huge hit, but I did feel that although it was my second wedding dress they really could care less because it wasn't my first.

I went to Adrienne's after a friend of mine ordered a gorgeous wedding gown there. I loved the small, intimate feel of this gem of a bridal boutique. Gina, the owner helped me select my dress and without knowing it, I chose one of her original designs. She was amazing through the entire process from ordering the dress to the fittings to any other questions I had. She did the fittings herself (she is a former designer for vera wang). This is a no pressure- it's a breath of fresh air compared to the insanity of Kleinfeld and other bridal stores. I cannot recommend Adrienne's more - their designs run the gammut but it seems you can get a lot of value there.

RECEIVED EVERYTHING ON TIME! I WAS CONSTANTLY CALLING IN TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF THE DRESSES AFTER READING POOR REVIEWS. IT TURNED OUT GREAT! SOPHIA WAS A COMPLETE SWEETHEART. VERY HELPFUL AND THE MAIN REASON I CHOSE TO BUY AT THEIR PLACE. OWNER SEEMED INDIFFERENT TO MY BUSINESS. SHE OFFERED ME FREE CUPS FOR THE ALTERATION AFTER BUYING 6 DRESSES AND MY WEDDING DRESS NEEDLESS TO SAY I FORGOT THEM THERE. SHE SEEMED TO BE MORE INTERESTED IN PEOPLE WHO WISHED TO DO CUSTOM WORK BC ALL SHE SEEMED TO SEE WAS $$$$$. OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. ANNOYING THAT YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!

I spent all summer looking for the perfect dress and couldn't find anything that wasn't strapless, wasn't tremendous and didn't weigh 100 pounds. Adrienne's was one of the last places I came across and found my perfect dress within minutes of explaining to the staff what I wanted and what I didn't want. They listened and I ended up with a gorgeous dress that was affordable. Though I found the scheduling a bit inflexible, overall I was very happy. The seamstress did amazing work and I was comfortable and felt beautiful on my wedding day.

(This is about the Manhattan location). Adrienne's is terrific! I loved that they had a totally manageable stock of dresses but you also have the option of designing your own dress. I was not one of the brides who wanted to go to a huge gown store, and I loved the degree of attention and good advice I got every time I went. I ended up choosing a dress designed by Gina, the owner, and so it was basically custom-made for me with all the little changes I wanted. What a treat! And it was very reasonably priced, as far as gowns go. Thank you!

I bought my veil through Adrienne's. Though the veil was beautiful and ended up coming out perfectly by the time the big day rolled around, it had to be redone twice to fix various defects. The fact that the seed pearls that edged the veil were glued on (at first) and fell off all over the place was a big turnoff. Eventually the very accomodating seamstress fixed the veil so it was exactly what I wanted. DO NOT buy your bridesmaids' dresses here. The bridesmaid's boutique is tiny, cramped and is staffed by high school kids who care more about texting than helping your girls find dresses. If you are very lucky, you might run into the 2 older staff members who can do more for you than stare blankly when questioned!

They had a great dress selection. Sometimes the service left something to be desired. I had to go back several extra times for fittings because they got the hem wrong. OVerall I was satisfied.

This is about the Manhattan location. This was the worst possible experience and I discourage anyone from going. I was a super laidback, easy-going bride. But their TERRIBLE service pushed all my limits. I gave them 9 months notice to custom make/fit my dress. Everytime I checked in to come for a fitting, they'd say, "Oops, sorry, we haven't gotten to it yet." Finally three months before the wedding they started, but EIGHT times in a row they called to postpone fittings because they, again, hadn't gotten to it yet. It got so bad that they were STILL working on MAKING the dress just days before my wedding. My "final" fitting wasn't until the NIGHT before my wedding (even though I was begging them at this point to go faster) and it didn't fit properly but they had run out of time to fix it. Meanwhile, I was missing my OWN wedding celebrations (we had a day before cocktail event) to attend the fitting. It was devastating. And they were unforgiveably rude about it. They had to deliver my dress around 11:00 pm at my apartment the night before the wedding. It never fit properly and all ceremony/reception long I kept having to pull it up bc it would slip down. This is, hands down, the worst service experience of my life and I would STRONGLY recommend avoiding this place. Crazy unprofessional. Worst part was, I was trying to be as good natured as possible and they were so rude to me. Unbelievable. Do NOT go to the NYC Adrienne's location. Truly appalling.
