As an artist myself, it was really important to find a photographer with strong skills. In choosing John Lennon, not only did we get beautiful and artistic pictures, but we had the pleasure of working with a genuinely nice guy as well. At the wedding, John always managed to be in the right places at the right times, to capture our most special moments. Lennon Photo is truly amazing! My husband and I could not be happier with having worked with John Lennon from Lennon Photo. People are not kidding when they say your wedding day flies by – after our wedding we were shocked by how fast the day went by, and how quickly you begin to forget some of the little details you worked so hard on while planning for your wedding. Our photo proofs came back very quickly and we were so happy to find that watching a slideshow of our wedding photos was almost like watching a video of our wedding day from start to finish; John captured every moment of our day! John was such a pleasure to work with - so friendly and warm; calm yet so energetic and excited to be working with us. He provided guidance when we needed it for our formal photos, but yet kept in the background and captured all of the fun, candid moments. John is such an amazing talent, and we could not be more thankful to him for giving us such beautiful photos – my husband and I can now relive our wedding every time we look through our wedding album. I cannot say enough about John Lennon to do his photography work justice. A few years ago I actually stood up in a wedding that John and his brother, Dan, photographed. The entire wedding party immediately clicked with them and felt at ease throughout the day. My friend’s pictures were gorgeous and she was thrilled with the outcome. When I became engaged I did not even consider looking for a different photographer. John was available and came into town from New York to photograph our wedding which I can’t believe he was willing to do. Throughout the planning process John was organized, attentive, and easy to communicate with. On the day of our wedding John was timely, energetic, and fantastic about keeping our large (16 groomsmen, 8 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, 1 ring bearer) wedding party focused, on time, and out of trouble.  He has a keen eye for photography and suggested beautiful backdrops and settings throughout the city of Detroit that I never would have considered. John works and captures special moments in a nonintrusive manner that shows true emotion like I’ve never seen in photography before. I will forever be thankful that we chose Lennon Photography for the most special day of our lives. And, I will be forever grateful to John for providing our families with the most special part of our wedding…the pictures that will last a lifetime and that we will cherish forever.

We knew when we first met John he was going to be our photographer. He was always there when we needed to get in touch with him. Very warm and personable. Put your trust in John, you will come out with the most beautiful photos and wonder how he did it! We will definitely be using him again for when we start our family :)

From Day 1, John was quick to respond to e-mails and messages and really knows how to put a stressing bride at ease. On the wedding day, he was fun and got to know everyone in the bridal party by name and really made people feel comfortable just kicking back and being themselves. No stiff posed photos here, people! John will capture the personality of your day so perfectly that you will feel like you were there every time you look at your pictures. He took pictures of intimate moments that my husband and I thought we snuck, but make for beautiful shots. There were so many pictures of things I would have otherwise missed at the wedding but were instead captured beautifully by John. Stop your searching and call him immediately! I would recommend Lennon Photo to EVERY bride if I could. The service that John Lennon provided was professional, friendly, and consistent since the moment my husband and I walked into the office. The pictures that we have of our wedding day are beautifully unique while capturing every moment. We will cherish them forever! John (owner) was wonderful in assisting us in planning and was always available if we needed him. We could have used a bit more direction during formal photos. The end result was beautiful pictures. It was difficult to choose our favorites.
