Rich at SLCC is amazing. They are very attentive and it was a stress free event from start to finish with all the help they provide. Joe the maitre d was on point, he set up everything perfectly for our big day. The food was delicious and was exactly the same taste as we sampled in the trial!

A beautiful place to have a wedding. I loved the staff they really know how to make you feel like everything is going to go your way for your special day. The food is amazing, and the price is right! I cant say even wnough about the staff! Great crew!

I would 100% recommend Smithtown Landing CC to anyone. I can not tell you how amazing the staff is to work with, the food.... SO DELICIOUS!!!! If you want to have the perfect wedding, Smithtown Landing CC is where you want to be. The entire planning process with Rich, Deb and Jackie was effortless, and on the day of it was magic. Joe and Pat on the day of worked so above and beyond, I could not have made it through without them. All of my guest cant stop talking about how nice everyone was and how delicious the food was. It was perfect!

I cannot even BEGIN to explain my absolute pleasure it was to have had my ceremony at this gorgeous location. Rich was a joy to work with and was there through all my planning for any questions or concerns I had along the way. He was genuinely kind and never pushy with the services they could provide. Joe was also exceptional on the day of - his demeanor kept me totally at ease which I feel is EXTREMELY important on your wedding day. It's an extraordinary privilege to have had the chance to work with them and have shared the most beautiful day of my life at their establishment. I could not have been happier. ~Michele & Eric

OH MY GOD! I brought my mother with me for my first meeting with Rich. When we drove up to Landing, I liked what I saw. I thought the lobby was quaint and adorable. Rich showed us the grounds, gave us a full tour of the ceremony spots and cocktail hour rooms, and I liked it even more. Then Rich takes us into the main reception room - the Merrywood Cottage - and I fell in love! This place offered everything we wanted - a great dance floor, amazing view, beautiful atmosphere, and most importantly, AWESOME price! I bugged DH to go back with me all that week. We finally went back and he fell in love with Rich as much as I did. Rich is just so laid back, and so easy to work with! Debbie is a sweetheart too! We booked on the spot. Every time we went back to Landing for a payment, showcase, or tasting, we felt more content with our choice. We met more staff members each time and everyone was very accommodating! Each visit, they made us more comfortable! On the day of, EVERY need was met! Rich and Debbie were amazing, we felt like we knew them forever! Joe, our Maitre'D, and Patti, my bridal attendant, watched my every move (but not in an annoying way, they kept enough distance to make sure I was not smothered), and made sure I was completely pampered! I hit my head getting into the limo and smeared makeup on my dress. Well, before we made it up the stairs, Patti had club soda, ready to help me clean up the blemish! At all times, they had water on hand to make sure I wasn't too thirsty, and they offered food and snacks at all times to make sure I wasn't hungry! This kind of behavior can really spoil a girl!! HAHA!! Just before the cocktail hour ended, Joe took us to the reception room privately, so we can see how they set up the room, and make sure everything met our expectations. Well, they far exceeded our expectations!! The room was set up beautifully! Every little detail was perfect! I really like that Joe had us look privately, we got a chance to soak everything in without being interrupted. It was great! The ceremony and reception was phenomenal! Everything went perfectly! If there were any snafus, Landing did an incredible job at hiding them from us! I already want to plan DH's 30th birthday there, just so I can have another event at Smithtown...

Rich and his staff at Smithtown Landing Country Club gave us our dream wedding. We had a vision and they made it happen, impeccably. From the first day we met Rich, we knew he was our guy. He listened to every word we said and was always available to talk through our ideas. He and his staff, especially Joe, the maƮtre'd, and Chris, the chef, made us feel that our day was as special to them as it was to us, both before and during the wedding. We knew from our interactions with them that our day was going to be fantastic, but the actual day surpassed our highest expectations. We had a fusion wedding with all sorts of flavors! I am a Bengali Muslim, my husband a Jewish, Italian American. Our fusion wedding was a first for Rich and his staff, but no spectator would ever guess; from the food to the service, everything was so seamless that one would think they had done it a thousand times before. Both the Indian food and the Italian food was excellent, all our guests agreed that the goat curry was the best they had ever had and the eggplant rollatini, even my meat-loving aunt couldn't stop from requesting seconds. When we go to parties now, friends and family still rave about the sauces and service at Smithtown. The most important thing about the entire staff at Smithtown is their simultaneous concentration on both the big picture and the tiniest details. Joe and our day-of coordinator, Pat, guided us through every step of the day, from making sure the bridal party was fed breakfast and lunch to calming my nerves moments before I walked down the aisle. When my husband and I walked into the reception hall, Joe was there to inconspicuously take my bouquet from me as I walked in so I would not have to re-trace my steps to put it down - it was such a small action, but it still gets me every time when I watch the video - how did he know to do that?! My sister-in-law still remembers that as we were taking our bridesmaids pictures, she was thirsty at one point, turns around, and there was Pat waiting with some cold water. A few minutes later, she needed her bouquet, and again, Pat was there with bouquet in hand. These little details truly show the entire staff's dedication and enthusiasm. All our other vendors also commented on how wonderful and easy it was to work with Rich and his staff. And I knew that as long as they were around, no matter what happened with any other vendor, they would know how to make things ok. To give that type of peace of mind to a bride is no small thing. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for individualized service and dedication to embracing the day you have always dreamt of and more!

Rich and the rest of the staff at Smithtown Landing did a phenomenal job! Guests raved about how beautiful our wedding was and how much they loved the food.. I could not be happier that we chose Smithtown Landing as our reception location for our wedding!! Donna and the rest of the staff were incredibly hospitable and made us feel so welcome and appreciated from the very beginning!! We actually chose this vendor due to the fact that the service we received early on was so amazing that we knew they would do their best to make our wedding perfect. They succeeded! The food was delicious and the guests were raving about it! The room looked beautiful and the grounds were the perfect place to take our wedding pictures! We absolutely loved everything about Smithtown Landing!

Smithtown Landing Country Club was the third and last place we looked at when searching for a catering facility for our wedding. It was elegant, yet personal and didn't have the feel of the "typical" wedding halls. Rich, the catering manager, was so great to work with - he worked with us on everything. What we received for what we paid was outstanding. He was always willing to answer my questions whether through email or phone calls. He has a great personality and was so easy-going - a quality we were looking for. On the day of, the staff was so attentive to all of our needs. They set up the reception room perfectly and were so nice all night long. Our guests left saying that this was one of the best weddings they had ever gone to. The food was amazing! We also had our wedding rehearsal there and everyone left saying what a great meal they had. Pick Smithtown Landing - I promise you will not regret it!

My husband and I only looked at one Reception Hall and the moment we walked in to Smithtown Landing Country Club we knew it was for us. The atmosphere is amazing, the rooms are beautiful, the service was BEYOND impeccable. The staff there was more than accomodating and made us feel like we were the only bride and groom ever! :) Everything about this place made us feel like we had a dream wedding.

I was blown away by this catering hall. The hospitality was amazing, along with the food and drinks. Being an event planner myself, I was truly amazed on what a beautiful job they did. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!!!!

Smithtown Landing/Lessings was by far the best experience for us. The staff was exceptionally helpful and Lisa and Rosie were absolutely wonderful they helped in every way they could and cared very much about our special day as if it were their own. Couldn't beat the price per person either and the vendors they recommended were great also.
