I saw them at a bridal showcase and their flowers were beautiful. I made an appointment with them and they were very nice. At the time I didn't really know too much of the cost of flowers and when I spoke to them they said they could work with any budget and give me beautiful arrangements. Just to book them i had to give them a $500 deposit that was non-refundable. They did not want to give me a quote of the total when I met with them first. I later learned after i stopped doing business with them that every other florist I went to would quote me an amount the first time i met with them. Party Sensation told me that we would have another meeting to talk about the flowers closer to the time of the wedding. And that they would keep in touch to follow up on the appointment. I did not meet with them until 5months before my wedding and we discussed what i wanted for my flowers. They still did not give me a price until about 2 weeks after that. When i received the bill the total for 17 centerpieces, my bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 groomsmen flowers, mother and fathers and grandparents flower, flower girl, decorations for the church and 100 chair rentals was a whopping $8500 without tax. I almost died. Just for the centerpieces it was going to be $5,000. I spoke to them and told them that it was way too much money and at the time it was not in my budget. I didn't know it would be soo much money because they didn't give me a quote until about 4 months before the wedding. I asked them to cut down and maybe get rid of the chair rentals and maybe make the flowers smaller and that only cut the cost down to $6000. It was then when i started pricing around for other florist. When i did, all of the florist i went to gave me the same exact flowers minus the chair rentals for $4000 less than these people. I told Party Sensation the other quotes i had received and they told me that they could not cut anything and they couldn't give me a better price than $6000 no tax. I guess it was my fault for not doing research, but when you are recently engaged trying to plan your wedding you don't really know what to do and you are very trusting. BIG MISTAKE!!! I had to break the contract with them because there was no way i could afford it and i lost my $500. When i broke my contract the manager at Party Sensation was trying to make me feel guilty that now i had cost them sooo much money and they were also losing out as much as me. The only thing they could tell me is that if and only if they could book someone else on the day i had hired them then they might be able to give me my deposit back. I wanted them to at least use my deposit to fix the church and they said that if i didn't use their services fully then i would lose my deposit that they won't just do half a wedding. It is the worst thing to deal with especially when your wedding is soo close by and you have millions of other things to do. In the end i found a florist that did everything i wanted for $3000. My flowers were beautiful and i received compliments from all my guests!!
