Ruby Star ROCKS! Amy and Anthony are not only professional as can be but they get it and understand your needs. They are not pushy, they don't get in the way and they LOVE every minute of what they do. From the very start they were both easy going but extremely professional and of course incredibly talented; the pictures prove it. Everyone who sees our photos thinks they are the best they've ever seen. If you are looking for traditional standing poses you get that (if you want it) PLUS everything else; all the candid photos you can imagine, every emotion, move and feeling of the day. One of my friends who couldn't be at the wedding looked at the pictures and said she felt like she was there. They really capture the whole feeling of the wedding or any event for that matter, of the bride and groom, and of your day. Their video work is exceptional as well. They both really love what they do and you can tell. They really put themselves into the work and it shows. We love ruby star and are SO happy to have chosen them to photograph our special day. They are the definition of photojournalism and exceeded our expectations! They are timely, courteous, never get in the way, FUNNY, modern, tech-savvy(images are on a site and discs), work so well together, talented, helpful, organized, priced well and competitively, responsible and are overall good people to be surrounded by on your wedding day! A must have at any wedding and Amy and Anthony know how to do it; they will specialize it to fit your needs, make the photos personal with your names. Talk about something your guests will love and never forget; its amazing! We used ours as a way for our guests to sign our guest book (with their photo and a note).They were also able to bring the pictures home with them as a keepsake. Best part is you get to see all your friends and family in the booth on a disc following the wedding! Again, we love Ruby Star and would highly recommend them to everyone! We already have!

Amy and Anthony were more then great, she said they would arrive fifteen minutes ahead of time. And they sure of enough did arrive more then on time. They were great with my children, my son was not happy about having to wear the suit but I still got great pictures of him smiling. When I asked Amy a question on how to fix something, I expected her to tell me what i had to do, but without even a question she placed her camera down and helped me. The experience that I had with them could not even be better. They are great at what they do. And I wish I would be able to even fully express how great they made my day.

Ruby Star Photography is so much more than just talented photographers, although their extreme talent and creativity shine through with every picture they take. What I would like to convey to the future brides out is that they are so passionate about what they do, and this translates into beautiful pictures and wonderful memories. On the day of our wedding, they made my husband and I feel calm and at ease, and some of our favorite pictures are the ones they took when we didn't even know they were there! They have an amazing sense of how to capture all of the moments on the day, both big and intimate, and are truly professional photo journalists who tell the story of your day. The short version testimonial is that Ruby Star Photo rock! They're easy going professionals who are fortunate enough to do something they truly enjoy doing and be able to call it their "job". One of the best things we like about Anthony & Amy is that they "get it". They understand the stress that we're going through leading up to the day. They know that the process of creating the album after the wedding can be an ongoing pain in the.... :) And they do their very best to relieve any of that stress and keep your mind at ease. If you are looking for a photographer who is going to be handing out those little black pocket combs to the groomsmen, then Ruby Star might not be for you. Don't get me wrong though, they will gladly take any photo you ask them to. They show up on the day of your wedding ready to naturally document the day in its entirety. And they do a damn good job accomplishing just that. They were never in the way but somehow managed to get all the great shots of the day. They showed up at the house early enough to get great shots of the girls getting ready then they made it to the church in time to get shots of the guys before the service began. They set up multiple videos throughout the church (and later the venue) to capture the day from every angle. I was mic'ed so there was clear audio of our vows in the video as well. They really have it down to a science and the final product shows. Our video came out great! After mass we went and took pictures on the beach. It was hot and windy but Anthony and Amy assured us it would be worth it when we got the proofs back...and it was!! They honestly do want to give you the best possible representation of your day. My wife and I wanted to mingle with our guests during the cocktail hour. Anthony and Amy worked quickly with us to get through our list of must have photos so we could enjoy our evening. At one point Amy was even running around collecting grandparents to help keep things moving for us - like I said before, they "get it". The rest of the night we didn't even notice they were there. They seemed to capture every moment of the night. We're convinced they didn't even stop to eat. They scoped out the venue and came up with some great ideas for photos for us and took us on a little shoot just before we ate. The first thing they did when they pulled us away from our guests was tell us to relax a minute and take it all in. The day goes by so quickly, it was great to have someone pull us aside and remind us to enjoy it. Your photographer is the only vendor who doesn't take their money and run after the wedding. Amy and Anthony continue to provide their top class service to you until you are holding your album in your hand months after the wedding is over. They want you to be happy with the finished product of both the video and the album. We love both. The video is great quality and flows nicely. Naturally we make everyone who visits watch it, and everyone is impressed by it. Our album is amazing. You can give it to a stranger off the street and they would feel as though they were at the wedding by the time they page through the entire thing. It perfectly tells the story of our wedding day, from the detail of the flowers to my wife's Grandfather's tux with white sneakers :).
