I have to agree with the prior comment. Mike was very responsive when it came to booking the tent I needed for my daughters confirmation and then when it was time to sign the contract and collect a deposit. He spoke like he new it all about tents. They came and set it up 4 days before my party which I thought was wonderful I could decorate ahead of time, etc., etc... but then, after having the tent for 24 hours half of it was down and it wasn't even windy. So I called and he said he had no one around to come and fix it and he didn't even know how to fix it himself when I asked him to come. Keep in mind I had already paid him the balance. So now he was paid in FULL. So all of a sudden with no return call back he sent someone, they fixed it for a few minutes and left. By the next day it was half down again. The day before the party we had heard we were going to get some strong winds all weekened and the tent was half down, if it couldn't withstand no wind how was it going to withstand strong winds? So I had to leave him 4 messages before someone finally showed up at my house the next day, again with no return phone call. He took 3 hours to fix the tent that was supposedly up the correct way that was longer than it took for them to put it up. After all that the party was a success and the tent withstood the strong winds. But, we were to have the tent until Monday because Michael said that they do not work on Sunday's so needless to say I didn't clean out the the stuff that I needed to and they just should up with no phone call early in the morning to take it down. I also needed to rent something else for him for a school function and still have not heard back from him at all. I guess he is not interested in making money, only when it is convenient for him. I also rented tables and chairs from him and I have to say the tables were ok and the chairs were awful, time to invest in some new chairs T.G.I.F. party rentals, they were flimsly and filthy.

What a mistake! I used TGIF Party Rentals for my wedding tent. In the beginning, Mike made us feel great about choosing him, that he knew everything about the business, and that we had nothing to worry about because he was the ONLY one that could do X and Y. But a week before the wedding, everything fell apart and Mike was made it so difficult to work with him. He overcharged on tents, told us we needed things when we really didn't (he gets a D for honesty), never even set up one of the tents he charged us for, and I'm still tracking him down to mail me my wedding DVD. My advice to a future-bride is to use the vendors that your wedding venue recommends. We didn't because we thought we could find a better deal, but in the end it would have been more worth it to let the venue take care of everything and fix problems as they occured. Instead, my mom and I were on the phone the night before our wedding making sure things were resolved. Not worth it!
