The Metropolitan

The Metropolitan made my wedding absolutely perfect. Eileen helped me through every step of they way and I couldn't be more thankful. She was kind and patient and answered every question I had. The venue itself is just beautiful. Having the entire venue to yourself makes it even more special. My friends and family can't stop raving about how beautiful the space was and how amazing the food was. One of my friends even said "hands down best wedding food ever". I cannot picture my wedding being any more perfect.

We had our reception at The Metropolitan & it was the best party of our life! Eileen (banquet manager)was so helpful & professional. I knew I was in great hands. They only have one wedding at a time so it was very intimate. The food was delicious! Our cake was beautiful, elegant and tasted phenominal! And the truffles they passed out were to die for! I'm not kidding!!! They had so many choices. We had an amazing celebration!

Eileen and her team at The Metropolitan made our wedding day absolutely perfect! The food was fantastic, the space was fabulous, the staff was helpful and supportive - the day could not have been easier. My husband and I did not have to worry at all about the venue - everything just happened without us having to be involved - which is definitly what you want on your wedding day! The planning process was also a breeze with Eileen - from the menu to the cake to the linen - it was so easy and such a pleasant experience. They told me exactly what I needed to do, by when, and that was it! Nothing hidden, no surprises. It was exactly what we wanted. I cant thank them enough!

I am so happy we chose to have our wedding at the Metropolitan! The venue made for a really elegant night. The staff, especially Eileen and Pam, were incredibly receptive to anything I needed throughout the planning process. They gave excellent feedback that helped make a wonderful evening. What a nice and professional group of people to work with. I continue to get comments from guests about how wonderful the food and the staff were. I would love to do it again! Eileen helped me plan throughout the year and Pam was my maitre d'. They both worked the night of the wedding and made every step smooth and effortless for everyone in the bridal party and for the guests. I really appreciate them and would recommend them 1000 times over to friends and family.

Love Eileen and her staff. It's a different kind of reception hall - no chandeliers (exactly the reason I loved it)!! The food and service were phenomenal. For the quality of food and service, and having the entire place to yourself, you can't beat the price per person on Long Island. Have recommended to others who were equally as happy.
